DESCRIPTION
EQUATION is a semi-viscous liquid engineered to prevent the formation of diverse scales
(i.e. calcium carbonate, calcium oxalate, etc.). Once EQUATION is used at a continual basis,
acid descaling is not necessary.
APPLICATION
EQUATION must be used between the range of 2-50 ppm depending on the hardness and
types of salts.

Scaling is caused in membranes because the level of hardness salts in the water becomes highly concentrated as it passes through the RO unit. 
In smaller units scale formation can be prevented by base exchange softening the make-up water but for larger systems that is very expensive. 
We have developed a range of easy to handle, cost effective RO Antiscalant which increase the solubility of the hardness salts so they remain
 in solution rather than forming scale on the membrane.
 Our cost effective RO antiscalants will inhibit a wide range of foulants including: 
calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, strontium sulphate, calcium fluoride, silica and iron.

CALGONIT

calgonit MC 958 is a general purpose Phosphorous-free antisca-
lant that protects against scale formation in reverse osmosis sys-
tems. calgonit MC 958 inhibits formation of all carbonate and
phosphate scales, also sulfate scales at extreme super satura-
tions. The product also exhibits control of reactive silica at low
to moderate levels. calgonit MC 958 is able to disperse colloidal
particles such as silt, clay and colloidal silica, effectively stabilizes
metal ions and disperses metal hydroxides. calgonit MC 958 is sui-
table for use in a range of feedwater sources, including brackish-,
waste- and seawater. The product must be continuously applied
to provide full system protection.
